Class description:
String Jam is a class for string players (violin, viola, cello, bass) to
learn some basics of improvisation. Topics include - the use of musical elements
in improvisation, how to read chord charts, and creating solos
along with accompaniments. Sometimes overlooked in the "classical" world,
improvisation is a fun part of music-making for string players too!
Class size: 4 - 8 students
Fee: $20 per student
